About Telos

Self-doubt & persistance. Betrayal & learning to love yourself. Grief & finding meaning. Regret & discovering your true self. All while looking down the barrel of impending doom.

To Aristotle, Telos described someone's purpose; specifically, in art. Telos, Trouble's upcoming debut album, will tell her real stories: "It's the most true, and real, and authentic thing I've ever done. The songs and lyrics are so vulnerable that I have resisted showing them to anyone else; they feel almost too personal... but they speak to the moment we're living in, and shared experiences that I think a lot of people relate to... I honestly can't think of a more appropriate title for this collection of music. It's like, everything I have ever done musically has been leading to this album."

Hi, I'm Trouble

They Call Me Trouble & the Reckoning of Telos
Some music is made to be consumed: pleasant, palatable, easily digestible. And then there’s Telos, the debut album from They Call Me Trouble, that walks in the room like it owns the place and dares you to look away. This isn’t background music. It’s unapologetic, sharp-edged, and soaked in raw honesty and the blues. If you’ve ever felt like you were too much, too bold, too unwilling to shrink yourself for the comfort of others, this album is for you.
